All paintings are on custom made wood boxes.  She paints with acrylic paints, uses various techniques to achieve texture and utilizes wood stain to add depth.  

Milby’s inspirations are derived from life and the mind's amazing ability to recall those moments that have shaped her for good and ill . The events in her life are primarily tragic in nature. Her art highlights the events that play in her mind when she is awake.  She is a storyteller through her art.
