Disaster Relief Art Auction
Collectors please read this:

Redbud Gallery is sponsoring a fundraising exhibition on January 12, 2002. 100% of the net proceeds
will be donated to the American Red Cross. Top artists in America are creating 7.5" x 6.5" works that
will be available for viewing at Redbud Gallery starting January 8, 2002.

Artists Dan Mitchell Allison, John Baldessari, David Best, Bill Davenport, George Herms, Lucas Johnson,
Helen Altman, James Surls, Sharon Kopriva, Dee Wolff, Al Souza, Ed Blackburn, Earl Staley
and many others are participating.

This is a blind auction. The names of the artists will be on the back of each individual piece of art, and will
be and revealed to collectors only after their choice of artwork has been made.

1. All payments for $150 are to be made out to the American Red Cross Liberty Disaster Relief
Fund (New York) or American Red Cross Greater Houston Area. Send your check to Redbud
Gallery at the address below in order to obtain a ticket for the auction and selecton process.

2. On January 12, 2002 at 7pm, at Redbud Gallery, collectors will be able to obtain one piece of
art for every ticket purchased ($150 each). Tickets may be purchased at Redbud until 7pm.

3. Names will be drawn at 7pm, January 12, to determine the order in wich collectors will be allowed
to enter the gallery and make their choice. Names will be posted and announced. Collectors will have
one minute to enter the gallery and make their selection.

4. Collectors proxies will be accepted if you cannot attend the opening January 12.

5. If you cannot participate on January 12, you can choose apiece from the remaining works on
a first come, first serve basis, on January 13, 2002, from noon to 5pm. The exhibition ends
at 6pm, January 13, 2002.

In view of the recent tragedy of Sept. 11th, Redbud will sponsor a silent and blind art auction
on January 12, 2002. All profits will be donated to the American Red Cross. If you
are interested in participating, please create a work of art and send or deliver to
Redbud by January 6,1002.

Top collectors, Marylyn Oshman, Mary Cullen, and ethers have committed to purchase pieces.
Artists Dan Mitchell Allison, David Best, Bill Davenport, George Berms, Lucas Johnson, James Sorts, Sharon Kopriva, Dee
Wolff, and others have already agreed to participate.

Details:
1. All payments will be made directly to the American Red Cross for the artworks in this auction.
2. This will be a one-time event.

3. Each work will be sold for $150.
4. Each work will be executed on the 7.5 x 6.7 in. standard board supplied.

5. Each work will be signed on the back.
6. Subject matter will not be censored, but should respect and be sensitive to other Americans.

7. Medium and subject matter are the artist's choice.
8. Artwork should be unframed.

9. The show will be hung salon style.
10. Collectors will not see the name of the artist and will draw numbers to determine order of selection.

11. Spread the word if you wish.

13. Mail or drop off the work during the day at Redbud Gallery between now and
January 6, 2002. Leave the work at PRO Antiques next door if the gallery is
unattended.
